Ye, got totally soaked this morning heading over from the Annalong Valley towards the Hares Gap. Started out dry but then went totally downhill. I disagree with your choice os best campsite, I reckon the top of the Ben Crom reservoir is better. However the midges are there and you tend to get a few DOE groups using it.

I have the Icebreaker mondo top already in green - bought from you - and i think they are great. The whole merino range is really good especially the no-stink bit and when i eventually do need to wash it the missus manages not to shrink it which s always a bonus

Brilliant top, well worth a look at for any trail running or mountain marathons. The 150 weight is great for this time of year when the weathers abit more clammy and also these tops don't hold odour like synthetic tops.

They may not be the highest, but they're quiet and very remote in some parts.

interested to read about Irish hills as it's usually just those in Scotland, England or Wales that are described on what after while, feels like a big advert loop.

This blog could be a good place to start publicising them and i'll be interested to read about them if you do.
